Siechem Madurai Panthers extended their winning streak in the 2018 Sankar Cement-TNPL to four matches with a comprehensive victory over Ruby Trichy Warriors at the ICL Sankar Nagar ground in Tirunelveli on Sunday, July 29.

Panthers’ left-arm spinner Rahil Shah dazzled with 3-27 in his four overs. He spoke exclusively after the win.

It is a fantastic win for us, this (Sankar Cement-TNPL) is a momentum-based tournament and now we are having the winning momentum with four wins behind us, so very happy to win.

On his bowling performance…

I stuck to my basics today, I stuck to my line and length, and I picked up the wickets. I am very happy with my performance tonight.

On his celebration style…

My celebration is about archery. The number of wickets I take, the number of arrows I shoot.

On the remaining matches…

We will be hoping to seal our place in the Playoffs with one win from the remaining two games. Again, it is a momentum-based game so our effort will be to try and win all the remaining matches.
